肯尼斯•韩歇尔（Kenneth G. Henshall），新西兰坎特伯雷大学（University of Canterbury）日本研究所教授，从事日本研究三十余年。于伦敦大学亚非研究学院专攻日本文学，获一等名誉硕士学位，又在悉尼大学获日本现代文学博士学位。先后执教于新西兰奥克兰大学、美国加州伯克利大学，并曾在日本多所大学担任研究员。他目前的主要工作是以跨学科研究的视角把日本介绍给更广大的读者。
